Phyllis D. Pelsey

Phyllis D. Pelsey, 63, of Spring Twp., was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 25, 2012.

She was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Benjamin C. Pelsey, Sr.

Phyllis was a graduate of William M. Raines High School, Jacksonville, FL and Savannah State University, Savannah, GA.

She retired from Emcompass Insurance, Wyomissing after 32 years of service as an Underwriter.

Phyllis was a member of St. Ignatius R.C. Church, Whitfield.

She is survived by her children, Benita Y. Pelsey, Jacksonville, FL; Denise Y. Pelsey, Sinking Spring; and Benjamin C., Pelsey, Jr., (Fredericka), Jacksonville, FL; and one brother, Daryl O'Bannon, Jacksonville, FL. Five grandchildren, two brothers-in-law, three sisters-in-law and many grieving family and friends also survive her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 11 a.m. in St. Ignatius Church. Burial will be in Florida. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
