Phyllis M. Jay

Phyllis M. Jay, 74, of Reading, died June 2, 2011 in Reading Hospital.

Born in Youngstown, OH, she was the daughter of the late Carroll and Pauline (Mihalik) Jay.

She was a secretary for Reading Evangelical Free Church; and was a member of West Wyomissing Chapel.

Phyllis was an avid reader and loved spending time in her flower garden. She also enjoyed fellowship with family and friends.

Survivors include one daughter, Lori, wife of John Bowers, with whom she resided; and three sons, Edward, husband of Rachel Saadi, Mohnton, James, husband of Christine Saadi, Sinking Spring and Joseph, husband of Kimberly Saadi, Spring Twp. There are two brothers, John Jay, Girard, OH and Clinton, husband of Ruth Jay, Palm Springs, CA. Thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive her.
