Phyllis E. Hartman

Phyllis E. Hartman, 84 of Hamburg died November 19th, 2014 in her residence. She was the widow of George W. Hartman, who died January 5th, 1996. She was born in West Hamburg and was the daughter of the late Russell and Arlene (Ritter) Mohan. Phyllis was a 1947 graduate of Hamburg High School. Phyllis was employed by the Hamburg Center for 19 years, the last seven as the Executive Secretary for the Director of the Center. She was a member of the First United Church of Christ, Hamburg and a former member of the Hamburg B.P.W. Phyllis is survived be one son, Thomas M. of Sinking Spring, one daughter, Lori McNeil companion of Paul M. Newman, Hamburg, and eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren and was predeceased by a granddaughter, Elizabeth. Her devoted caregiver also survives her. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM from the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc. Hamburg. A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
