Phoebe P. Moyer

Phoebe P. (Fizz) Moyer, 72, passed away, October 9, 2011 in her Ontelaunee Township residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Earl Sylvester and Pearl Mae Fizz.

She was the wife of Dr. James T. Moyer.

Phoebe was a graduate of Reading High School in 1957 and Bryland Institute.

She was a self-employed hairdresser for 40 years, retiring in 1999.

Phoebe was a member of Community Evangelical Congregational Church, Sinking Spring.

She was an avid Phillies and 76ers fan.

Phoebe was known for her knitted baby ensembles.

She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, Tyler J., husband of Maggie (Snow) Moyer, Sinking Spring and Stacie L. (Moyer), wife of David Eisenhofer, Mooresville, N.C.; her brother, Gene E. Fizz, Wyomissing; her sister-in-law, Dolores (Dodie) Fizz, Wyomissing and two grandchildren, Joel D. Eisenhofer and Austin J. Eisenhofer.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Harry "Jim" Fizz and Gary Jack Fizz and two sister-in-laws, Marilyn (Bohn) Fizz and Geanie (Seyfert) Fizz.

Memorial Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be made to Delaware Valley Golden Retriever Rescue, 60 Vera Cruz Rd., Reinholds, PA 17569. Edward J.
