Philomena M. Repoley

Philomena (Phil) M. Repoley, 82, of Shillington, died August 1, 2016, in Reading Hospital.

She was the wife of Frank T. Repoley; they were married on May 12, 1956.

Born in Tamaqua, she was the daughter of the late Donato and Amelia (Tommasini) Forlin.

She was a graduate of St. Jerome's High School in 1951.

Phil was a bank teller at Great Valley Savings Bank, Shillington, and previously was employed by A&P Grocery Store, Shillington.

She was a member of St. John Baptist de la Salle Roman Catholic Church, Shillington, where she was a lector.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her four children, Linda M., wife of James Fox, Mohnton; Diane, wife of Danny Hafer, Elizabethtown, KY; Frank D. Repoley, Adamstown; and David Repoley, Palm Springs, CA. Seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in St. John's RCC, 420 Holland Street, Shillington, PA 19607. Burial will be Thursday at 3:30 p.m. in St. John's Cemetery, Tamaqua. Friends may call Thursday from 9 to 10:30 in the church.
