Philip Ciatto

Philip Ciatto, Jr., 69, died February 26 in his Muhlenberg Twp. residence. The cause of death is under investigation by the Berks County Coroner's Office.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Filippo, Sr. and Verna (Caltaliano) Ciatto.

He was employed by UPS, Reading as a service representative supervisor for 23 years retiring in 1992.

Ciatto was a graduate of Reading High School where he played varsity basketball and baseball.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Ciatto is survived by one son Philip R., Plano, TX. Other survivors include three brothers, Joseph, Wyomissing, Rosario, Maidencreek Twp. and Salvatore Ciatto, Muhlenberg Twp.

Services will be Thursday at 11:30 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Entombment in Gethsemane Mausoleum. Friends may call Thursday from 10:15 a.m. until time of service. Contributions may be made to Holy Rosary R.C.C. Reading, PA 19602.
