Phena L. Morganti

Phena L. (Churico) Morganti, 70, of Muhlenberg Township, passed away May 15, 2021, at St. Joseph Hospital.

She was the loving wife of Luigi Morganti.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Neva (Parsons) Churico.

She was a graduate of Schuylkill Valley High School.

Phena was employed as an office secretary through several family owned businesses including Morganti Mushroom Farms until her retirement in 2013.

Phena was a naturally gifted artist and musician who enjoyed playing the guitar and piano. She also loved singing the praises of the Lord with others at Trinity Bible Fellowship Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Robert L., husband of Robin Morganti, West Reading, James F. Morganti, Muhlenberg Township and her brother, David, husband of Susan Churico, Bernville.

Services will be Thursday, May 20, 2021, at 10 a.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 5153 Kutztown Rd., Temple with entombment to follow at the Chapel of St. George at Gethsemane Cemetery.
