Peter P. Ragonese

Peter P. Ragonese, 69, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2022, at his Wyomissing residence. He was the husband of Dee (Napolitano) Ragonese; sharing 47 years together.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Rosario and Marianna (Cecere) Ragonese. Peter graduated from Xavarian High School in Brooklyn and received his associates degree from Kingsboro College. He was a firefighter and proud veteran who honorably served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War.

Peter belonged to St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus as a 3rd Degree Knight. He enjoyed riding his Harley, listening to music, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Dee, five children: Peter Ragonese (Mina) of Wyomissing, PA; Mandy Miller of Spring Township, PA; Nicholas Ragonese (Kassie) of Spring Township, PA; Jaime Walter (John) of South Heidelberg Township, PA; and Thomas Ragonese of Spring Township, PA and his five siblings: Paul; Michael; Arthur; Cindy and Randy. He was a loving grandfather of: Nicholas, Donovan, Marianna "Mia", Dominic, Peter, Alexis, Luke, Logan (deceased), and Lilliana.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2022, from 5-7 p.m. at the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, West Reading, and on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, from 9-10 a.m. at St. Ignatius Loyola RCC, Whitfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Ignatius, with interment at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery to follow.
