Percy A. Satoris

Percy A. "Buzz" Satoris, III, 73, of Reading, passed away May 30, 2010 in Reading Hospital.

He was the husband of Mynette J. (Hock) Satoris.

Born in Coaldale, PA, he was the son of the late Percy A., II and Muriel E. (Foley) Satoris.

He was a 1954 graduate of Tamaqua High School and attended North Carolina State University.

Buzz was Founder, Chairman, and CEO for 36 years for Bulk Chemicals Inc., Reading.

Buzz is a perfect example of a man who lived his life to the fullest. He enjoyed his farm which included horses, carriages, waterfalls and trains. He also enjoyed golfing and boating.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Satoris, Sewell, N.J., and Laurie Satoris, Norristown, his step-daughter, Lisa D., wife of Brian G. Crone, York; his brother, Edward C. Satoris, Suntree, FL; two sisters, Alice "Pat", wife of Daniel Postupack, Satellite Beach, FL, and Muriel Ann "Teddy" Satoris, Winthrop, MA; and his grandson. Joshua D., husband of Lacy E. Crone, York.

He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Viola, wife of Paul Beagan, Westland, MI; two nieces; five nephews; and eleven great-nieces and nephews.

Buzz was predeceased by his brother, Jerome L. Satoris.

Services will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in First Presbyterian Church, 37 S. 5th St, Reading, PA 19602. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: Caron Foundation, P.O.
