Pedro J. Rivera Jr.

Pedro J. Rivera, Jr., 57, of Reading passed away on December 28, 2015 in his residence.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Pedro J. Rivera, Sr. and Carmen Cruz Torres.

He was employed by Morgan Corporation as an assembly worker. He was previously employed by Renbow International for over 10 years.

Pedro was an avid animal lover having collected snakes, lizards and various other creatures. He loved fishing, playing pool, working on cars and bowling.

He is survived by his children, Kijuan D. Felder, Lancaster; Niki A. Brown, San Francisco; Myron J. Felder, Queens, NY; Jordan M. Rivera, Reading, and Michaela J. Rivera. He is also survived by a grandchild, Ezreil E. Felder, Pottstown, and siblings, Sarita Matos, Lancaster, and Noemi Matos, companion of Angel A. Sample.

Pedro is predeceased by his brother Ruben Rivera.

A memorial service will be held on January 9, 2016 from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Nativity Lutheran Church, 1501 N 13th St, Reading. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home in care of Pedro J. Rivera to help defray from funeral expenses. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., is in charge of arrangements.
