Pearl V. Himmelreich

Pearl V. Himmelreich, 85, formerly of Leesport, died Aug. 5 in Laurel Center Genesis Elder Care, Tilden Township, where she had been a resident for seven years.

Her husband, Howard B. Himmelreich, died March 12, 1990.

Born in Temple, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Nora (Bowman) Paine.

Himmelreich is survived by a son, Ricky H. Himmelreich, Leesport; and two daughters, Linda (Bailey) Shenk and Gale (Bailey) Keller, both of Reading.

Other survivors include two brothers, Thomas Paine, Centerport, and Richard Paine, Blandon; and three sisters: Wilda (Paine) Hess, Mohrsville; and Vanetta (Paine) Meals and Myrtle (Paine) Bartlett, both of Fleetwood.

There are also several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home Inc., Laureldale. Burial will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Maidencreek Township. Friends may call Tuesday 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
