Pearl M. Troxel

Pearl M. Troxel, 84, of Lower Alsace Township died October 26, 2013 in ManorCare Health Service, Muhlenberg Township.

She was the wife of Charles P. Troxel whom she married April 13, 1957

Born March 21, 1929 in Temple, she was a daughter of the late George and Mary (Keller) Trate.

Pearl was employed as a packer with Bachman Pretzels, Reading for 43 years, retiring in 1991.

She was an avid fan and cheerleader for local sports teams including: The Fighting Phils, Reading Royals, and the Hershey Bears.

Pearl was a member of Zion Spies Reformed Church, Alsace Township.

In addition to her husband, surviving is her brother, Nelson Trate of Temple; her sisters, Viola, wife of Clifford Weidner of Laureldale and Jeanette Waid of Temple and 6 nieces and 5 nephews.

She was predeceased by her brother, Herman Trate.

Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 423 Main St., Oley, PA. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Spies-Zion Cemetery, Alsace Township.
