Pearl M. Leszcynski

Pearl M. Leszczynski, 92, Laureldale, died Nov. 7 at 8:20 a.m. in ManorCare Health Services Inc., West Reading, where she had been a patient since Nov. 2.

Her husband, Jerome S. Leszczynski, died April 20, 1979.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Pauline (Talarczyk) Kubacki.

Leszczynski had been last employed for several years as a teacher's aide in the day care center of the Berks County Intermediate Unit. She previously worked for Kott's Bakery, Reading.

She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

Leszczynski is survived by a daughter, Geraldine D. (Leszczynski) Feeney, with whom she last resided, and a sister, Joan (Kubacki) McDevitt, Bethlehem.

There are also three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in the Chapel of St. George at Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 1018 North 8th Street, Reading, Pa 19601 or to The Reading Area Community College Scholarship Fund, 2nd and Penn Streets, Reading, Pa 19602. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home Inc., Laureldale, is in charge of arrangements.
