Pearl Grace Hullihen

Pearl Grace (Kramer) Hullihen, 96, of Lancaster, passed away January 8, 2015 in Lancaster General Hospital.

She was the widow of P. Irvin "Ive" Hullihen.

Born August 18, 1918 in West Reading, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Edith (Unger) Kramer.

Pearl was a graduate of West Reading High School.

She worked at the Berkshire Knitting Mill and later in the cheese department for Food Fair, West Reading.

Pearl was a volunteer at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, West Reading.

Pearl enjoyed cooking, baking and gardening. She loved cats, playing the violin, and watching her favorite TV shows: Laurel and Hardy, Lawrence Welk, and Jeopardy.

She is survived by many nieces, nephews, and good friends.

Pearl was predeceased by her son, Larry Greg Hullihen; her sisters: Viola V. Frantz, Mary E. Myers and Helen E. Szajek; and her brother, Leon E. Kramer.

Services will be Tuesday at 12 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Viewings will be held Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery.
