Pearl I. Aungst

Pearl I. Aungst, 92, Wyomissing, died November 9, 2007 in the Reading Hospital.

She was the wife of the late William R Aungst who died December 10, 1981.

Born in Tower City, she was the daughter of the late John and Myrtle (Ritzman) Deiter.

She was a graduate of Tower City High School.

Pearl worked for 20 years as an office manager for Arthur Auchenbach Insurance Agency in Pine Grove.

She was a member of West Lawn United Methodist Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher until 2007.

Pearl is survived by a son Thomas A. husband of Darcie Aungst, New Bedford, Mass and a daughter Carol Anne wife of Charles Wagner with whom she resided.

Other survivors included two brothers Dale Deiter, Tower City and John Deiter, Williamstown, and a sister Eleanor Kimmel, Donaldson, PA.

She is also survived by five grandchildren Charles Wagner, Jr., Craig Wagner, Cheryl Wagner, Alan Aungst, and Noah Aungst.

Services will be Tuesday at 10:00am. at West Lawn United Methodist Church 15 Woodside Ave. West Lawn, PA 19609. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Tower City, PA. Friends may call Monday between 6:30pm. to 8:30pm. at the Church. Contributions may be made to West Lawn United Methodist Church at the above address. Edward J.
