Pauline A. (Farina) Stanhope, 45, went to be in the Lord on March 19, 2009 in her Pottstown residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was the wife of David L. Stanhope, to whom she married on September 6, 2008.

Born on April 3, 1963 in Allentown, she was a daughter of Anthony G. and Theresa M. (Loeper) Farina, Cumru Township.

She was a 1981 graduate of Holy Name High School and a 1983 graduate of St. Joseph Hospital School of Radiologic Technology. She continued her radiology education at various academic institutions throughout her 25 year career.

Pauline was employed for 25 years, starting in 1983, as a radiologic technologist for Pottstown Memorial Medical Center, last working on January 5, 2009.

Her positive attitude to fight cancer was truly an inspiration to all. She loved being with her family and her many friends and co-workers, She loved smooth jazz, reading, antiques and her three cats.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her brother, Stephen A. Farina, Fl; several nieces and nephews; and she was a special aunt to her many friends' children.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday March 24, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in St. John Baptist de la Salle Roman Catholic Church, 420 Holland St. Shillington, PA 19607. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before services in the church.

A Memorial Service will also be held Saturday March 28, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in Berean Bible Church, 2675 East High St., Pottstown, PA 19464.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Rad Dogs-Relay for Life c/o Paula Lenane Radiology Dept., Pottstown Memorial Medical Center, 1600 E. High St., Pottstown, PA 19464. Edward J.
