Pauline A. Smith

Pauline A. (Zoeller) Smith, 90, formerly of West Lawn, passed away December 11, 2016, in Angier, NC.

Her husband, Jack C. Smith, died September 26, 1990.

Born in Furth, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Wilhelm and Betty (Ackerman) Zoeller.

She was employed as a seamstress for Wide Awake Shirt Factory. She was active in the Reading Leiderkranz, Evergreen German Club and West Wyomissing Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

Pauline is survived by her son Jack and his wife Bridget, Cary, NC; and her daughter Trudy Parks and her husband Bill, Centre Hall, PA. Three grandchildren: Chad Burns, Jennifer Carfano, Patrick Smith, and six great-grandchildren also survive her.

Visitation is on Saturday December 17th from 10 to 11am in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading followed with a Prayer Service at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhomes.com.
