Pauline Joy Scheetz

Pauline J. (Reichert) Scheetz, 66, of District Township, died February 15, 2014 in Reading Hospital and Medical Center, West Reading, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous 4 ½ year battle with cancer.

She was the wife of Ronald L. Scheetz, whom she married August 10, 1968.

Born August 12, 1947 in Landis Store, PA, she was a daughter of the late Pierce K. and Edna Mae (Clemmer) Reichert.

Pauline was a 1965 graduate of Brandywine Heights High School.

She enjoyed the company of many friends and customers at Landis Store Hotel, where she was employed as a waitress for 31 years, last working, October of 2013.

Pauline was a former member of St. Joseph's Hill Lutheran Church, Boyertown.

She enjoyed helping Trexler Florist, Topton, on special occasions with floral arranging.

Pauline loved gardening, going to the beach with her girlfriends and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her two sons: Todd C.W., husband of Jennifer M. Scheetz of Brownstown and Adam R., husband of Meghann K. Scheetz of Exeter Township.

Other survivors include her four siblings: Carl Reichert of Douglassville, Dorine (Reichert) Shoemaker-Renninger of Selinsgrove, Donna (Reichert) Gehris of Boyertown and Mary (Reichert) Masters of Alburtis.

Also surviving are her three grandchildren, Tyler, Owen and Lila and her mother-in-law, Erma R. Sheetz of Boyertown.

Pauline was predeceased by her sister, Mae (Reichert) Moyer.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., Oley is in charge of arrangements.
