Pauline Mary Schaeffer

Pauline Mary (Burgert) Schaeffer, 87, formerly of Maidencreek Township, died March 12, 2014 in ManorCare Health Services, Inc., Muhlenberg Township.

She was the widow of Albert Rothermel Schaeffer, who died September 12, 1997.

Born in Kutztown, PA on April 24, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Paul Noll Burgert and Helen Agnes Mae (Hieter) Burgert.

She was employed 23 years as in the cafeteria with the Fleetwood School District, retiring in 1991.

Pauline was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Fleetwood.

She was a life member of the Fleetwood Grange #1839.

Pauline was also a charter member of the Blandon Lioness Club and a member of the Blandon Senior Citizens.

She is survived by a son, Glen A., husband of Cynthia F. (Mast) Schaeffer of Fleetwood.

Other survivors include a granddaughter, Lindsay C. Schaffer and two great grandsons: Ryan M. and Evan G. Schaffer, all of Maidencreek Township.

Pauline was predeceased by a brother, George I. Burgert.

Services will be held Monday at 10:00 am in St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 5 West Arch Street, Fleetwood, PA 19522. Viewings will be held Sunday, 6:30 – 8:00 pm in Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale and Monday 9:30 – 10:00 am in the Church. Burial will be in Fleetwood Cemetery.
