Pauline C. Dettore, 81, of Court Street, died Dec. 15 in St. Joseph Medical Center, where she had been a patient since Dec. 1.
Born in Birdsboro, she was a daughter of the late Angelo and Mariannina (DiClerico) DaDamio.
Dettore was owner and operator of the former Pauline's Beauty Shop, Reading, before retiring in 1970.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Birdsboro.
Dettore was a 1940 graduate of Birdsboro High School.
She is survived by a son, Joseph L., Reading; and a daughter, Marion L. (Dettore) Hoster, Birdsboro.
Other survivors include a brother, Valentine DaDamio, Springfield, Va.; and two sisters, Theresa M. (DaDamio) Swisher, Birdsboro, and Mary L. (Dadamio) Frymoyer, Reading.
There are also two grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in Gethsemane Cemetery Chapel of Resurrection, Laureldale. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
