Pauline A. Mccready

Pauline A. (Ackalusky) McCready, 92, formerly of Pottsville, passed away December 25, 2008 in Spruce Manor.

She was the widow of John J. McCready, who died in 1990.

Born in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Pauline (Zagarinsky) Ackalusky.

She was a graduate of Pottsville Catholic High School.

Pauline was a member of St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville.

She was a member of the Catholic War Veteran Association, Pottsville.

Pauline is survived by two sons, John J. Jr., husband of Patricia McCready, Philadelphia and Gerald J., husband of Joanne McCready, Wyomissing.

She is also survived by a brother, James Ackalusky, Pottsville.

Pauline is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Calvary Chapel, Pottsville. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
