Paula V. Franco

Paula V. (Herrmann) Franco, 85, passed away September 6, 2011 in her Wyomissing residence.

She was the wife of Dr. Frank A. Franco.

Born in Vienna, Austria, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Valerie (Hohn) Herrmann.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading..

Paula was a past president of Mother's Club at Holy Name High School.

She was active in church activities at Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, Mt. Penn and Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, David P., husband of Eileen (Vath) Franco, Melbourne, FL and Mary Jo (Franco) Conway, Charleston, SC and her brother, Othmar, husband of Dorit Herrmann, Vienna, Austria.

Paula is also survived by three grandchildren, Heather Haley, Tara Reynolds and Rhiannon Cook and two great-grandchildren, Addison Haley and Gavin Haley.

She was predeceased by her grandson, David R. Franco in August, 2010.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:00 a.m. in Sacred Heart R.C. Church. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum.
