Paul H. Wikerd

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rev. Paul Huber Wikerd, 102, peacefully on November 26, 2022, at Lutheran Home at Topton.

Paul was born on March 13, 1920, in Lititz, PA to the late Jonas and Anna (Huber) Wikerd. Paul was a Clergyman for Emmanuel Mennonite in Reinholds, Kempton Mennonite in Kempton, First Mennonite Church in Allentown and Bethel Mennonite Church in Lancaster, PA.

He is survived by two daughters, Carol Wikerd, wife of Richard Schaffer, Whitehall, Lehigh County; Janice Hoffman, wife of Joseph Hoffman, Allentown; a son, Dennis Wikerd, husband of Nina Wikerd, Kitchener, Ontario; daughter-in-law, Margie Wikerd, Homer, New York; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.

Paul was predeceased on Sept. 25, 1993, by son, Paul Hubert Wikerd; Loretta Mae (Hufford) Wikerd, his wife of 62 years on Aug. 6, 2006; his two sisters, Elizabeth Wikerd and Martha Wikerd.

Paul's Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December, 2, 2022, at 1 p.m. in the Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory, 5153 Kutztown Rd, Temple, PA 19560. Burial will follow in East Petersburg Mennonite Cemetery in Lancaster County. Friends may visit Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory. Chaplain Alice Kim will officiate.
