Paul Philip "Waggy" Wagaman, 84, of Temple, died November 18, 2010 in St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Township.
He was the companion of Mary E. (Moyer) Haoguen for 38 years.
Born December 9, 1925 in Kutztown, he was a son of the late George William and Hannah Catherine (Dry) Wagaman.
Paul was employed as a mechanic with Met-Ed for 24 years, retiring in 1986.
A World War II Veteran, serving in the U.S. Army, he was in the Crossing of the Rhine, Germany.
Paul was a member of Pikeville Rod and Gun Club, Kutztown Gun Club, Kutztown Fire Company, Temple Fire Company, Lyons Fire Company and Blandon Fire Company.
He participated in many car shows, winning various awards and was an avid golfer.
Also surviving are four children: Carol A., wife of David W. Murphy of Oley; Donna L., wife of Kim H. Lorah of Exeter; Barry R. Wagaman, fiancé of Melissa M. Aiman of Temple and Tina I., wife of Brett A. Stephens of Boyertown and a step daughter, Sharon L., wife of Thomas Ciesla of Mohrsville.
Other survivors include seven grandchildren, two step grandchildren, two great grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren.
He will also be sadly missed by his faithful friend, Ginger.
Paul was predeceased by a brother, Lee S. Wagaman and two sisters, Virginia Heffner and Bertha Bond.
A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
