Paul F. Stitzel

Paul F. Stitzel, 86 of Hamburg died September 8, 2018 in his residence. Paul was the widower of Helen L. (Rubright) Stitzel who died December 7, 2008. Paul was born in Windsor Township and was the son of the late Charles and Ada (Rentschler) Stitzel. His stepmother was the late Perma (Rismiller) Stitzel. Paul was the owner/operator of Stitzel Farm Equipment, Windsor Township for many years. He was a member of: NFIB, NAEDA, Indiana Farm Bureau, New York Farm Bureau, Pennsylvania Farm Bureau and Hamburg Our Town Foundation, Virginville Grange and Zion's Church, Windsor Castle. Two sons, survive Paul Kevin P. husband of Amy Stitzel, Brian A. husband of Debra Stitzel both of Windsor Township, five grandchildren, Kevin P. Stitzel, Jr. husband of Jan Stitzel, Brandon A. husband of Kristy Stitzel, Amanda L Stitzel wife of Jason Belovich, Jessica M. wife of Steven Becker and William J. Stitzel and great-grandchildren Caleb, Mya, and Mason and a goddaughter, Renea Reifsneider and several nieces and nephews. Paul was predeceased by a brother Luther Stitzel. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in Zion's Church, 770 Zion's Church Road, Hamburg with a viewing beginning at 10:00 a.m. until time of service with an additional viewing, Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. held at Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc., 40 S. 4 th Street, Hamburg. Burial will be in Zion's Cemetery, Perry Township. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the memorial fund at Zion's Church at the above address.
