Paul D. Rearden, 82, of Blandon, passed away on May 21st at the Reading Hospital.
He was the husband of Ann B. (Richards) Rearden.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Anthony and Agnes (Vogel) Rearden.
Paul was a 1943 graduate of Central Catholic High School. He attended Duquesne University.
He was a Program Planner for Lucent Technology, for 35 years until his retirement in 1990.
Paul was an Army World War II Veteran.
He is survived by two sons, Paul D. husband of Mary Rearden, Bethlehem, and Bernard P. husband of Sandra Rearden, Raleigh, NC, and one daughter, Eileen M. Rearden, Blandon.
Paul is also survived by one brother, John Rearden, Charleston, Ill., and three sisters, Mary Teson, Reading, Sister Jane Rearden IHM, Philadelphia, and Anne Casey, Phoenix, AZ.
There are five grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
He is predeceased by one brother, Anthony Rearden.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Margaret's R.C Church, 925 Centre Ave. Reading, Pa 19601. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
