Paul S. Moyer, 91, passed away, Monday, May 3, 2021, in his Windsor Twp. residence, surrounded by his loving family.
He was the beloved husband of Esther M. (Kaley) Moyer.
Born in Hamburg, he was the son of the late Robert C. and Katie E. (Moyer) Moyer.
Paul was a member of St. Paul's "Smoke" Church, where he served on the church council, choir, and cemetery board.
He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.
Paul originally worked as a milkman at Windsor Dairy. He was then employed as a machinist at Rockwell International, Reading, for 28 years. After his retirement, Paul served as a beloved crossing guard since 2000.
He was a past President of the Hamburg Lion's Club and the Hamburg Band Booster.
In addition to his wife Esther, Paul is survived by a daughter: Debra, wife of Joe Michael Matlock, Round Rock, TX; and a son, Timothy, husband of Beverly Moyer, Bern Twp. Two granddaughters: Aimee Litschi, Shartlesville; and Jennifer Koch, Austin, TX; one grandson; Christopher Matlock, Colorado Springs, CO; seven great grandchildren: Savannah and Aidan Litschi; Calvin and Kaley Koch; and Lucy, Sage and Ella Matlock.
Paul was predeceased by two infant sons: Donald and Brian Moyer; three brothers; Robert O., Arlan W., and George A. Moyer, and a sister Helen Youse
A funeral service will be private due to Covid-19 restrictions. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Paul's Smoke Church, 2613 Old Route 22 Hamburg, PA 19526, or Tower Health at Home, 1170 Berkshire Blvd., Wyomissing, PA 19610.
