Paul L. Moyer

Paul L. Moyer, 86, formerly of Bellevue Avenue, Laureldale, died Jan. 19 at 5:05 a.m. in Grandview Manor, Fleetwood, where he had resided since October 2001.

His wife, Dorothy B. (Bender) Moyer, died Nov. 3, 1991.

Born in West Reading, he was a son of the late Oscar and Alice (Strauss) Moyer.

Moyer was employed for 35 years as a pipefitter by W.L. Body Co., Reading, retiring in 1980.

He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Surviving is a daughter, Gail D. (Moyer) Scholl, Marina, Calif.

Other survivors include two sisters, Beulah (Moyer) Witman and Bertha (Moyer) Greenawalt, both of Laureldale; and two grandchildren.

Services will be private. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Tuckerton. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home Inc., Laureldale, is in charge of arrangements.
