Paul L. Herr

Paul L. Herr, 89, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022, in his Shillington home.

His wife, Sandra (Schymik) Herr, passed away on October 18, 2021. They were married on February 11, 1961, enjoying over 60 wonderful years of marriage.

Born in Evansville, IN, he was the son of the late Charles L. and Matilda M. (Korressel) Herr.

Paul graduated from Evansville University. He was a U.S. Navy veteran during the Korean War serving in Japan. Paul was employed as an engineer at Western Electric and Lucent for 30 years until his retirement in 1989.

He was a member of St. John Baptist de La Salle Roman Catholic Church, Shillington.

Survivors include his two children, Michael C., husband of Katherine (Gardner) Herr of Wyomissing; and Amy C. Herr of Montgomery, TX and three grandchildren: Maxwell, Jacob, and Brittany.

He was predeceased by his siblings: Charles, Kenneth, Herb, Richard, Rosalie and Dolores.
