Paul H. Reinert

Paul H. Reinert, 87, formerly of West Lawn, died April 21, 2012 in Mifflin Center, Cumru Township.

He was the husband of Mildred M. (Clark) Reinert who died in 1997.

Born April 24, 1924 in Reading, he was a son of the late Paul B. and Eva R. (Hiester) Reinert.

Paul was a 1942 graduate of West Reading High School.

He was employed as a quality control manager with Seagrave Fire App. Inc., Columbus, OH, working in Berks County and Eastern PA for 10 years. From 1970 until 2002, he owned and operated Paul H. Reinert Fire Truck Services, Spring Township.

Paul served in the U.S. Army during WWII and Korea.

He was a life member and driver of West Reading Fire Company; a life member of West Reading VFW and past assistant chief of West Reading Fire Company.

Surviving are two sons and a daughter Cathy L. (Reinert) Hicks of Reinholds.

In addition, he is survived by two brothers: John I. of Ronks PA, Lancaster County and Alan C. of Temple.

He is also survived by two grandsons.

Paul was predeceased by four brothers, Richard J., Harold C., William and Robert W.

Graveside services will be private at the convenience of the family in Hain's Church Cemetery.
