Paul Gristick, 82, of Reading died July 3 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.
His wife Helen M. (Snyder) Gristick died February 14, 1989.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late John and Elizabeth (Hrebanek) Gristick.
Paul was employed as a coil packer for over 30 years by the Reading Tube Corporation.
He was also a member of the Civilian Conservation Corps in Idaho as a logger at the age of 17.
Paul was a World War II U.S. Army veteran.
Surviving are one son, Paul, Jr. husband of Beverly J. Gristick, Shillington, and one daughter, Patricia A. (Gristick) wife of Kenneth R. Koller, Reading. Also surviving are two step-sons, Warren Schlottman, Parrish, Florida, and Walter Schlottman, Orefield, PA. He was predeceased by one step-son, Rodney Schlottman, and one step-daughter, Shirley Schlottman.
Additionally, there are 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Laureldale. Burial will be in Becker's St. Peter's Cemetery, Molltown. Friends may call on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Although flowers will be gladly accepted, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Avenue, Reading, PA 19605.
