Paul F. Guers

Paul F. Guers, Jr. 90 formerly of Auburn and Hamburg died January 18 th in Manor Care Laureldale.

Paul was the husband of Barbara M. (Brommer) Guers to whom he was married for 69 years.

Â

Paul was a 1946 graduate of Auburn High School and was a self- employed building contractor in Schuylkill and Northern Berks County for 35 years.

Â

He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Auburn, Schuylkill Lodge #138 F & AM and was past President of Blue Mountain K Lions Club.

Â

Paul was an avid golfer and Phillies fan.

In addition to his wife, Paul is survived by a son, John D. husband of Karen K. Guers, Reading, a daughter, Susan B. wife of Jack L. Burwick, York, five grandchildren, Michael D. husband of Jackie Guers, Valerie L. wife of Patrick O' Leary, Jeffrey K. husband of Caitlyn Guers and Jason S. and Stacey K. Burwick. Additional survivors include four great grandchildren, Anika, Alexa, Mark, and Heidi.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. from the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Hamburg with a viewing from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will follow in Schuylkill Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, 103 2 nd and Pearson Streets, Auburn, PA 17922.
