Paul D. Druckenmiller, 93, of Myerstown, Lebanon County, died January 7, 2010 in Stone Ridge Retirement Community, Myerstown.
He was the husband of Kathleen J. (Eberly) Druckenmiller of Myerstown. Paul was predeceased by his first wife Roberta (Aschenbrenner) Druckenmiller who died August 5, 1987.
Born November 12, 1916 in Spring City, Chester County, he was a son of the late Charles and Ruth (Hartranft) Druckenmiller.
Paul was a 1936 graduate of Reading High School.
He was employed as an inspector with Dana (Parish Division) for 37 years, retiring in 1975.
Paul, along with his first wife, Roberta, was also the owner/operator of Druckenmillers Confectionery Store, Temple for 17 years until the store closed in 1963.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II where he was a POW.
Surviving is a daughter Karen L.(Druckenmiller) Garverich of Mount Joy, Lancaster County.
Other survivors include two grandsons, Scott and Michael and a great grandson, Owen.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
