Paul C. Kegerise

Paul C. Kegerise, 81, of Kenhorst, died November 17th in the Wyomissing Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Reading where he had been since July 9, 2004.

He was the husband of Dorothy G. (Simpson) Kegerise.

Born in Shillington, he was a son of the late Warren D. and Carrie E. (Bicher) Kegerise.

He was a 1942 graduate of Shillington High School.

Kegerise was a Navy Veteran of WWII.

He was a member of One United Church of Christ, Kenhorst, where he was a former member of the church consistory.

Kegerise was employed 38 years as a splicer at Bell Telephone, Muhlenberg Township, retiring July 25, 1985.

He was a life member of VFW Hunter-Liggett Post, Reading and a past commander of Meade Camp Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War.

Kegerise is also survived by a son, Scott E. Kegerise of Sinking Spring.

Other survivors include a brother, Warren B. Kegerise of Shillington.

There are also four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Services will be Tuesday at 11:00 am in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Viewing one hour prior to service. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Spring Township.
