Patrick A. Nawa

Patrick A. Nawa, 56, of St. Lawrence, died June 2, 2008 in Reading Hospital.

He was the loving husband of Paulette S. (Zaorski) Nawa. They were wed May 31, 1975 and celebrated 33 wonderful years of marriage on Saturday.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Joseph C. and Anne M. (Quirk) Nawa.

He graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1969.

Patrick was an electrician for Phillips Van Heusen, Bern Township for 27 years, last working in March.

He was a member of St. Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, Exeter Twp.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Eric J. Nawa, fiance of Rebecca L. Rider, Emmaus. There is one brother, Thomas J. Nawa, Darlington, MD and three sisters, JoAnne M., wife of Warren Weber, Jr. Hamburg; Janice E., wife of William Zimmerman, Newmanstown; and Carol A., wife of Michael Emerich, Mohnton. He was predeceased by a brother, John M. Nawa.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Catharine's Church, Exeter Township. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading and Friday from 9 to 9:45 a.m. in the church.
