Patrick J. Van Blarcum

Patrick J. Van Blarcum, 32, of Ontelaunee Township, passed away September 6, 2021, at the Reading Hospital. Born in Lake Wales, Fl., he was the son of Michael J. and Kathy J. (Campbell) Van Blarcum of Ontelaunee Township.

Patrick was a 2007 graduate of Wilson High School. He was a catcher on Wilson's baseball team.

Patrick had a passion for chocolate processing. He worked his way up to a Processing Engineer by working at Godiva, Warrell and Cargill.

Patrick enjoyed baseball, fishing, boating and racing cars. He was an advocate for special needs and especially those with Epilepsy. He has a passion for ancient history and modern technology. He had a great deal of knowledge regarding politics and loved debating current events.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two siblings, Michael B. Van Blarcum and Kristine P. Van Blarcum, both of Ontelaunee Township, his maternal grandmother, Patricia Campbell of Castle Rock, CO. and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Patrick was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Joseph Campbell and paternal grandparents, Richard and Eileen Van Blarcum.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, September 16, 2021, at 2:30 p.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 5153 Kutztown Rd., Temple, PA 19560. Friends may call preceding the Service from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
