Patricia Riedel

Patricia A. Riedel, 86, of Muhlenberg Township, passed away on September 17, 2025 in the comfort of her home. Born in Reading, she was one of thirteen children of Ralph and Mary (Boltz) Riedel. After losing her mother at a young age, Pat proudly stepped into the role of helping raise her siblings.

Pat was a talented seamstress/spooler that retired from Narrow Fabric in 2005.

Always the jokester, Pat was a quirky and fun-loving soul who truly was "everyone's grandma." She had a heart as big as her laugh-there was nothing she wouldn't do to help someone in need. Whether offering a kind word, a warm hug, or a homemade meal, Pat was always there. She was especially known for her cooking, which she loved to share with friends and family. From Sunday Suppers to festive holiday feasts, her chicken corn pie, meatloaf, and famous potato filling brought comfort and joy to every table-and will be deeply missed. In her younger years, Pat had a flair for fun and a love for adventure. She proudly drove a black convertible Comet and created lasting memories taking her nieces and nephews to Maple Grove Raceway. A Philadelphia sports fan, she never missed a chance to cheer on her beloved Phillies, Eagles, and 76ers.

Left to carry on her legacy are her siblings, Edward Riedel (Nancy) and Betty Guldin (Glenn). She is survived by 24 nieces and nephews, as well as many great- and great-great-nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly. Also surviving is Pat's niece, Lori Kaczor and her spouse, Barbara Rath, who faithfully cared for Pat over the last 10 years. Her dog, Jacob, will also miss her greatly.

Pat was predeceased by six brothers and four sisters.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at 11AM at Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory, 5153 Kutztown Road, Temple. Family and friends will be received from 9-11AM. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Sinking Spring.
