Patricia Yohe Reber

Patricia Yohe (Broome) Reber, 75, died August 7, 2014 in her Laureldale Borough residence.

She was the wife of Larry Stephen Reber whom she married November 26, 1986.

Born March 4, 1939 in West Reading, she was a daughter of the late George Nelson and Valerie (Yohe) Broome.

Pat was a 1957 graduate of Reading High School.

She was employed as a telephone operator with Penske, Green Hills and McGlinn Capital Management, West Wyomissing, where she last worked in 1991, after becoming disabled.

Pat was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale.

She loved country music and Bruce Springsteen.

Also surviving is her son, John C. Schwambach, Jr., husband of Catherine L. Schwambach of Seabrook, TX and her two step-sons: Bryan S. Reber, fiancé of Wanda Kulp of Mohnton and Bradley S. Reber of Shillington.

Other survivors include her grandson, Joshua J. Schwambach and a step-granddaughter, Shalene Reeves, and her three sons.

There are also two nieces, Cathy Jacobs and Sue Broome and two nephews, Mike Broome and David Fischer and his daughter.

Pat was predeceased by her brother, George Broome and her sister, Shirley Fischer.

Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. in Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
