Patricia Marie Sheldon

Patricia Marie Sheldon, 77, passed away on September 2, 2022, at the Reading Hospital. She was the wife of Robert John Sheldon. They shared 57 wonderful years of marriage together.

Born in Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Jane (Howes) Sullivan. She worked at Don Kauffman Sewing where she shared her love of sewing and digital embroidery for over 20 years.

Patricia also had a life-long love of books and went back to school at the age 42 to graduate with a degree in Library Science and Elementary Education from Kutztown University in 1988. Patricia also liked to travel with her loving husband visiting countless national parks and overseas destinations.

Patricia was a faithful member of Holy Guardian Angels Church where she was a frequent soloist, member of the choir, and eucharistic minister for the homebound.

Left to treasure her memory are her husband, Robert, their four children: Michael Sheldon (Carol) of Gilbert, AZ; Jane Setley of Sinking Spring, PA; Kenneth Sheldon (Saoirse) of York, PA; Catherine Bonen (Matthew) of New Market, MD; She will be dearly missed by her 7 grandchildren: Timothy, Alexander, Skyla, Joseph, Abigail, Benjamin, and Allison; two great-grandchildren, Bella and Rafael who will remember her fondly for her apple and chocolate chip cookie pies and the handmade Christmas tree ornaments she made every year. She is also survived by her siblings: Patrick Sullivan, Dennis and Judy Sullivan, and Maureen and William Taylor.

Patricia was predeceased by her siblings Robert Sullivan and Kathleen (Sullivan) Lorenzo.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, September 8, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church. A viewing will be held Wednesday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory, Temple. A private burial will be held at Fort Indiantown Gap.
