Patricia M. Pat" (Lysczek) Liss, 72, of Reading passed away February 7, 2015, in Roanoke, VA

Born August 9, 1942 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Michalina (Ziemba) and Peter S. Lysczek, Jr.

She was a graduate of Reading Central Catholic High School and St. Agnes, School of Nursing. Patricia was a registered nurse at both Community General Hospital and Saint Joseph's Hospital, both in Reading.

Pat enjoyed mostly being with her grandchildren and family. Her favorite quote was "Whatever will be will be". We will always remember Pat from the past birthday and holiday family gatherings where love, laughter and joy was abundant! She was a loving mom, grandmother and sister with always putting them first. After any conversation, Pat's last words were always I Love You!. Her smile and upbeat voice regardless how she felt will be sadly missed by all of us.

She is survived by two sons, Dr. Kurtis, husband of Ainsley Moyer and Eric, husband of Emily Moyer; six grandchildren; two brothers, Peter S. III., husband of Karen (Peach) Lysczek and Christopher, husband of Lori Lysczek; one sister, Michele, wife of Arland Rhoads; many loved cousins, nieces and nephews and one sister-in-law, Joan Lysczek.

Pat was predeceased by her brother Victor Lysczek.

Services were held in Oakey's Roanoke Chapel, Roanoke, VA. Burial was in St Andrew's Cemetery. A Memorial Mass in Reading will be held at a later date. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of local arrangements. www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
