She is survived by her daughter Tricia L. Coss; two granddaughters: Jacilya Iyana and Jalecia Marie; and two great-granddaughters: Amina I. Tejada and Gianinna I. Coss. Other survivors include her mother, Jeanette and stepfather, Edwin R. Mogel; one sister, Robbin L. (High) Vilardo; two nephews: Daniel B. Vilardo, wife Cristalle (Martin) Vilardo; and their two children Lillian R. and Caroline F. of Chesterfield, Va; and Andrew J. Vilardo, and his two daughters Delylah I. and Samara L. of Reading, PA. She was predeceased by her brother, Jack D. High Jr., in 1984.
Patricia was a free spirit who radiated a love of life and an even deeper love for her family, particularly her daughter, granddaughters, and more recently her great-granddaughters. There isn't anything she wouldn't do for those she cared about. She loved to nurture her family through her cooking and baking. She loved the beauty and peace of nature and created a gorgeous garden where she could enjoy birds, butterflies and whatever other critters may have stopped by. She always said that to know her was to love her or hate her but she did not have a mean bone in her body - just a bold truth telling one!
Love Makana, Pinky, Seali, Petunia, and GGB ❤️
At Patricia's request, there will be no services as she wished to be laid to rest privately.
My Mother kept a garden.
A garden of the heart;
She planted all the good things,
That gave my life it's start.
She turned me to the sunshine,
And encouraged me to dream:
Fostering and nurturing
The seeds of self-esteem.
And when the winds and rains came,
She protected me enough;
But not too much, she knew l'd need
To stand up strong and tough.
Her constant good example,
Always taught me right from wrong;
Markers for my pathway
To last my whole life long.
I am my Mother's garden,
I am her legacy.
And I hope today she feels the love,
Reflected back from me
