Patricia B. Harnly

Patricia Beverly (Jones) Harnly, 83, of Spring Township, died January 25, 2011 in the Highland at Wyomissing Skilled Care Unit.

She was the wife of Albert Edgar Harnly, who died September 18, 1998.

Born in New York City on March 13, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Stephen R. and Myrtle C. (Cronk) Jones.

She was a 1944 graduate of Wyomissing High School and a 1946 graduate of Harcum College, Brynmawr, PA.

Patricia was a past president of the Wyomissing Hills Women's Club and a former board member of the Flying Dutchman Ski Club.

She also served as a group leader for the Wyomissing Hills Girl Scouts.

Patricia is survived by two daughters: Lynn (Harnly) Fix of Laureldale and Kim (Harnly), wife of Daniel F. Kloc of Spring Township.

Other survivors include a niece, Wendy (Sharman), wife of Mark V. Yourkavitch of Wyomissing and a brother-in-law, Dr. Richard, husband of Sharon Baumbach of Wyomissing.

There are also three grandchildren: Brooke Fix; Sondra, wife of Lawrence Valeriano and Jessica Kloc and one great grandson, Gianni Valeriano.

She was predeceased by a sister, Barbara S. (Jones) Baumbach.

Services will be held Monday at 2:00 pm in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading, with the Rev. Richard H. Summy officiating. No public viewing and burial will be private.
