Patricia Rose Gensemer

Patricia Rose (Lischak) Gensemer, 54, of Lower Alsace Township, died January 23, 2014 in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center, West Reading, surrounded by her loving family.

She was the wife of Edward R. Gensemer, whom she married May 18, 1985.

Born September 13, 1959 in West Reading, she was a daughter of the late Gabriel and Emma Rose (Bontempo) Lischak.

Patricia was a 1977 graduate of Muhlenberg High School. She also attended Albright College.

She was employed as an assistant manager with Goodwill Industries, St. Lawrence, where she worked for the past 15 years.

Patricia was a member of St. Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, Exeter Township, where she was a member of the guitar choir.

An avid Philadelphia Eagles fan, she enjoyed cooking, reading and spending quality time with her grandson. She was also a girl scout leader.

Surviving in addition to her husband, are her two daughters: Sarah N. and Kathryn E. Gensemer, and her grandson, Eddie, all at home.

Other survivors include her two brothers, Andrew Lischak and Peter Lischak, both of Reading.

Patricia was predeceased by her twin sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Catharine of Siena Church, 4975 Boyertown Pike, Exeter Township. Viewings will be held Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale and Wednesday one hour prior to the service in church.
