Patricia Bennett

Patricia Ann Bennett, 83, passed into glory on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 in Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania. She is survived by her significant other, Elwood "Woody" Trievel.

Born in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Florence (Hart) Grumbine. Pat graduated from Seton High School, Class of 1958. She devoted herself to her family, raising three children, and later in life, worked as a manager at Arcade Pharmacy - a job she cherished until her retirement.

Pat will be remembered for her insatiable love of life, her wisdom, and her kindness. She loved her summer vacations by the sea and gathering family around the table.

Left to cherish her memory are daughter Cynthia Rowlands of Sinking Spring, PA, her children: Michael, Marsadies, and McKenzie; and granddaughter, Haylee; son Brian Cosgrove and wife Sharon of Cumberland, MD, and their children, Emily and Seth; daughter Karen Enoch of Monkton, MD, and her boys: John, Jacob, and Nicholas; and her sweetheart and avid caregiver over the last several years, Woody Trievel. She was preceded in death by husband, William Bennett; brother, Theodore Grumbine; and sister, Virginia Thurman. Pat also leaves behind the Bennett family, who embraced her as part of the family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday, September 8, 2023 at St. Ignatius Loyola RC Church, 2600 St. Albans Drive, Sinking Spring, PA 19608. A viewing will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc. 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading, PA 19611, and on Friday at St. Ignatius from 10:30 a.m. until the time of Mass.
