Pastor Agapito Robles

Rev. Agapito Robles, 89, died May 11, 2014 in his Reading residence.

He was the husband of Anarosa (Gonzales) Robles.

Born in Barranquita, Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Valeriano and Jobina (Rodriguez) Robles.

Rev. Agapito was the Pastor at Good Samaritan Church of God, Reading. He has been active in the church for over 50 years.

He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great grandfather. He will be dearly missed.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his 17 children: Miguel (Olga), Agapito, Jr. (Virginia), Agustin, Anibal, Elias, Carmen, Malta, Gladys (Carmelo), Olga, Blanca, Esther (Frankie), Elizabeth (Joe), Maria (Andy), Irma, Sarah, Ruth (Carlos) and Emilia (Olman). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Margarita Robles-Negron, in 1985.

A viewing will be held Wednesday from 1 to 4 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Primera Iglesia Ebenezer, 1701 Chestnut St., Erie, PA 16502. Burial will be in Erie Cemetery. The family is requesting no flowers be sent to Reading.
