Pasquale Di Vito, 59, of Wyomissing, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017, in his residence.
He was the husband of Vincenza "Enza" Di Vito, whom he was married to for almost 37 years.
Born in Roccasicura, Italy, he was the son of the late Domenico P. and Emma (Scarpitti) Di Vito.
Pasquale worked as an auto-mechanic for most of his life. He was employed by Dick Horrigan's Automotive for 15 years and worked for the County of Berks for 17 years on fleet maintenance before retiring in 2010.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.
Pasquale loved to help all people, especially people in need of automotive repairs. He was an auto-mechanic to all. He loved to chop firewood for the fireplace and was a wonderful husband, father, and human being. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one child: Samantha Joy, Wyomissing; one brother: Giuseppe, husband of Pasqualina Di Vito, Bronx, NY; two sisters-in-law: Maria, wife of Bruce Balthaser, Lenhartsville; and Rosalia, wife of Michael Bealer, Linville, NC; and seven nieces and nephews: Stefania, Domenico, Jessica, Celia, Susan, Daniel, and Dalton.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 22, 2017, in Sacred Heart R.C. Church. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum. Friends may call Tuesday, February 21 from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday, February 22 from 8:30- 9:30 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611.
