Parke C. Boone, Jr.

Parke C. Boone, Jr., passed away May 12, 2015, in his Shillington residence surrounded by his loving family.

He was the husband of Patricia A. (Nonnon) Boone, whom he married on July 12, 1952.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Parke C., Sr., and Berta I. (Argenbright) Boone.

He was a graduate of Mt. Penn High School in 1949.

Parke was a U.S. Navy and U.S. Army veteran.

He was first employed as a mechanic by AW Golden. He worked for 29 years in the same capacity for Morganstern Chevrolet which became Marshall Chevrolet.

Parke loved to hunt and fish.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by 4 children: twin daughters, Deborah I., wife of Edward C. Fabriziani, Fleetwood; and Dawn A., wife of Thomas Drennan, Downington; Richard D. Boone, fiance of Margaret Ryan, Bridgeport; and Donna E., wife of Jeffrey Sedoti, Exeter Township; his twin sister, Beverly Leinbach, Mt. Penn; 8 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Parke was predeceased by his son, Russell Allen Boone and his sister, Carolyn Enoch.

A Memorial Service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611.Burial will be private. Friends may call Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m. in the funeral home.
