Pamela Faith Topur

Pamela Faith Topur, 63, of Reading, died October 26, 2013 in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center, West Reading.

She was the wife of Edwin Albert Topur, whom she married December of 1989.

Born August 19, 1950 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Leona "Pat" (Arnold) Lengel.

She attended Governor Mifflin High School and later earned her GED.

Pam was employed as an insurance rater with CNA Insurance for 26 years, retiring in 2003.

She was a member of Excelsior Beneficial Association, Reading.

Pam was a great cook and enjoyed being social and was a Cowboys fan.

An avid animal lover, she loved Assateague Island.

In addition to her husband, surviving are her three children: Belinda R., wife of Jason R. Martin of Denver; Donald R. Jr., widower of Mary Billman of Reading and Scott A., husband of Adrienne Lesher of Hanover and a step-daughter, Jennifer Topur of Douglassville.

Other survivors include 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
