Pamela J. Coldren

Pamela J. (Shirey) Coldren, 70, of Laureldale passed away March 5, 2026, at Reading Hospital, after a lengthy illness.

Pamela was born in Reading, PA, to the late Joe S. Shirey and Miriam L. (Frey) Shirey.

In Pamela's early years, she worked at her parents' store; JoAnne's Card and Gifts. For a number of years after that, Pamela devoted all her love and time to her family as a stay-at-home mother. As her children grew, she decided to embark on a career as a school bus driver. She proudly worked as a driver for 29 years, retiring in 2014 last working for Brandywine Transportation.

Pamela enjoyed traveling, and always was up for going out for a nice meal. Her favorite was a Monte Crisco sandwich and cheesecake. When you heard "Oh yeah", you knew she was having a good meal.

Pamela is survived by her two sons. Micheal and Steven, three grandchildren , and her loving dog Lucky.

She is also survived by her two "besties," Lauren and Linda, who will forever mourn her loss and cherish her memory.

Pamela was preceded in death by her sister, Joanne Nervik, and brother David.
