Ornardo G. Parise

Ornardo G. "John" Parise, 82, of West Douglass Street, died Oct. 31 in Reading Hospital, where he had been a patient since Oct. 5.

He was the husband of Maria R. (Addesso) Parise.

Born in Niles, Ohio, he was a son of the late Tony Parise and Lucia (Richutti) Cierbo.

Parise had been employed for 25 years by Carpenter Technology Corp., Reading, retiring in 1983.

He was a member of St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

Parise was an Army veteran of World War II.

He is also survived by two sons, Anthony A., Douglassville, and Ralphael J., Alburtis.

Other survivors include a half brother, Michael Caretti, Muhlenberg Township, and a half sister, Mary (Cierbo) Klump, Wernersville.

There are also four grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Resurrection at Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
